Agnes Opoku Ayemang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Culture and Tourism from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and she is currently an intern at GACC assisting with the Finance and Administrative duties.
Agnes has worked with the Ghana Revenue Authority (Achimota TSC) as an intern and (Mataheko TSC) as a National Service Personnel. She worked with MTN Ghana (Nyieaso-kumasi) as an intern and a part time staff at the sales department. Agnes has worked with the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD, Ghana) as a field enumerator for the Afrobarometer and the Ghana Citizen Citi Score survey. Agnes is passionate about everything she sets her mind to do, she is a strong team player, very ambitious and has the zeal about learning new things.
Pamela Laourou is a communication intern at GACC. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Communication Studies (Public Relations Option) from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Pamela has worked with Environmental Protection Agency at the Environmental Assessment and Audit Department as National Service personnel. Whilst in school, Pamela volunteered with United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Ltd in the Marketing and Corporate Communication Department and Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation at Public Relations Department as an intern.
Pamela is passionate about developmental works and is very excited to be part of GACC. She believes society can be free from all forms of corruption for the progress of a nation.
Dorcas Affum Tenkorang holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Ghana, Legon and she is currently a volunteer at GACC assisting with the Programmes department of the GACC.
Dorcas has worked with the Ghana Standards Authority at the Fish Inspection Department and the Food and Drinks Laboratory as a National Service Person and an intern respectively. She was also with the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, Nutrition Department and 37 Military Hospital, Dietetics Department as an intern. Dorcas is a strong team player, ambitious and zealous about learning new things.
Dorcas is passionate about supporting humanity and contributing to a corruption-free Ghana, which is in line with the vision of GACC. She believes that a better Ghana is not only the responsibility for a few but all.
Isaac Bakoe works with GACC as the organizational driver. He has over eight (8) years’ experience in driving. He was formerly self-employed as an Auto Mechanic.
Priscilla Opoku works within the administrative set up of the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC) as the Office Assistant. Priscilla’s work encompasses all administrative duties within the office. Priscilla holds a West African Secondary School Certificate, having completed the Aburi Presbyterian Senior High School.
Christian Atteh Semekor is the Finance and Admin Assistant for GACC. Christian is a very time conscious and an objective person with Excellent teamwork abilities, Experience in Quickbooks Accounting Software and a drive to excel. Christian is always ready to learn and implement new ideas and also seeking to become a well balance person who can function in different field of operation.
Christian had his first working experience with Wapic Insurance company and an internship with Ghana Revenue Authority (Adenta STO) under the CFO unit, Heritage Energy Insurance (Dzowulu Abelekpe) under the underwritten unit. Christian A. Semekor did his one- year National Service with National Identification Authority under the Operations unit and gained One & half year contract with the NIA for the mass registration. Christian A. semekor also worked as Nabco personnel with Accra Digital Centre and Shai Osu-Doku Health Directorate(DHD) both under the Account unit. Christian Atteh Semekor is now a current Finance & Admin staff of Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC).
Christian holds Bachelor of Science (Accounting) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Takoradi Technical University.
Solomon Nyankah is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the GACC. He is a hard-working, self-starter, team player, dedicated, and results-oriented person committed to rendering effective service to any organisation through continuous learning and self-development for the benefit of the organisation and society. He possesses excellent interpersonal, data collection, and management skills. Solomon is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Prior to his appointment at GACC, Solomon worked with the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) as a technical planning analyst in the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Division. He joined the NDPC from 2017 to 2023. His duties included coordinating the preparation of the national Annual Progress Reports (APRs) from 2017 to 2022; the President's Coordinated Programme of Economic and Social Development Policies (CPESDP) 2021–2024, and the National Medium Term Development Policy Framework (NMTDPF) for 2018–2021 and 2022–2025. He also provided technical assistance in the preparation of the National Development Monitor; the SDG Voluntary National Review Reports (2019 and 2022; sector and district development plans and progress reports; and the mid-term evaluation of the medium-term National Development Policy Framework, "Agenda for Jobs, Creating Prosperity and Equal Opportunity for All, 2018 -2021". Solomon provided technical backstopping for district planning officers on participatory M&E; served as a national trainer on the District Development Data Platform (DDDP) for all regional economic planners, district planning officers, and MIS/statisticians in Ghana; and was a resource pe rson for an ECOWAS sensitization workshop on ECOWAS Protocols held in the Central Region. He also facilitated the mainstreaming of integrated social services indicators into district plans.
Solomon Nyankah holds a B.Sc. degree in Development Management from the University for Development Studies. Other training certificates include: Integrated Planning and Reporting Toolkit (IPRT) by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA); SDG Toolkits Integration, Monitoring, and Evaluation; and Data Visualisation and Advanced Data Visualisation (Tableau and Canvas) by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
Samuel Harrison-Cudjoe is the Programmes Officer of GACC. He holds postgraduate (M.Phil) and undergraduate (B.A) degrees in Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon. Samuel is experienced in project management, research, project monitoring and evaluation and social media management.
Samuel has worked in a former capacity as Research and Policy Officer at the GACC. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Tutorial Assistant at the Department of Political Science at the University of Ghana, a Library Assistant in the Ports and Harbours Library in Takoradi, and a Vice Editor of a News Publication whilst at the University of Ghana. Whilst in school, Samuel volunteered with the Sub-Saharan Education Project (SSEP) as a Teaching Volunteer in 4 public schools in deprived communities in coastal Accra. Samuel’s last appointment was with the National Peace Council, where he worked as a Principal Programmes Manager.
Samuel is fixated on the development of a Ghanaian society free from all forms of corruption and inequality.
Godfred Oppong Amoako is the Head of Finance for GACC. Godfred Oppong Amoako is an experienced Finance and Accounting Professional with over 10 years’ experience in the field of Financial Management, Audit and Internal Controls as well as Budgeting and Budgetary Controls. Godfred is very skilled in Excel and proficient in the Financial Management System of Trading and Non-Governmental set ups as well as general administrative practices.
Godfred is currently the Head of Finance for Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition and was formerly with Armajaro Ghana Limited as Internal Audit Officer and District Accounts Officer respectively for several years. He also worked with Offinsoman National Health Insurance Scheme as an Accounts Assistant.
Godfred is a finalist of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). He also holds Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast and Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Cape Coast Polytechnic.
Bright Kwadwo Sowu is the Head of Programmes and Deputy Executive Secretary of GACC. Bright holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, U.K where he was a Commonwealth Scholar. He also holds an M.A in International Affairs and a B.A in Psychology, both degrees awarded by the University of Ghana.
Bright has worked with the International Programmes Office of the University of Ghana as a Programmes Coordinator. He has also worked as a Research Officer with the Embassy of Japan, Accra. During his study in the U.K, Bright volunteered with the Humanitarian Centre, an international development network, as a Programmes Assistant in charge of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL). Mr Sowu’s last appointment was with the Delegation of the European Union in Ghana, where he worked as a Programmes Officer.
Bright has a passion for development work and is very excited to be part of GACC. He believes that a corruption-free Ghana will ensure that the country’s resources benefit the entire populace significantly.
Mrs. Beauty Emefa Narteh is the Executive Secretary of the Ghana Anti–Corruption Coalition (GACC) since January 2017. She also serves as the Governance Council (GC) Chairperson of the Africa Freedom of Information Centre (AFIC). She also serves as a member of the Steering Committee of the Right to Information (RTI) Coalition; a member of the High-Level Implementation Committee (HiLIC) of Ghana’s National Anti-Corruption Action Plan (NACAP); a Co-Chair of the Ghana CSO Platform on SDGs; a Steering Committee Member of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) Local Network; and a Steering Committee Member and the current Host of the Economic Governance Platform (formerly CSO Platform on the IMF).
She has over seventeen (17) years of experience in communications, advocacy, resource mobilisation, coordination, facilitation, and project management. With practical field experiences from diverse development issues, in the areas of good governance, anti-corruption, the socially disadvantaged, sustainable forest management, and gender.
In West Africa, she supervised the implementation of an Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) funded regional public procurement and audit recommendation implementation projects in Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Benin, and also managed a World Bank-funded West Africa Contract Monitoring Network (WACMN) in Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.
Beauty holds a master’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Communications and Development, and a Graduate Certificate in Women’s Studies from Ohio University, USA. And Certificate in Executive Communications and Governance Reform from the World Bank and Annenberg School, USA.

As part of its efforts to achieve good governance and the entrenchment of multi-party democracy, IEA carries out periodic assessments of the quality of governance, and the performance of parliament.
The Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) was set up by Act 804 of 2010 in line with Article 190 (1((d) of the 1992 constitution as one of the Public Services of Ghana to supplement and augment government's effort in the fight against corruption in the State. The Office was established as a specialized agency of government to monitor investigate and on the authority of the Attorney-General, prosecute any offence involving serious financial and economic loss to the state and to make provision for connected and incidental purposes.
The mandate of the Office is clearly set out by the EOCO Act. The relevant provisions, at Section 3(1) (a), (b), (c), (d) and (2) S. 12, and S. 13 indicate clearly that the mandate to investigate any suspected fraud is inherent in the Office and can be activated by the Executive Director without reference to any other authority or agency of State.
The Ghana Journalists Association, founded in August 1949, has grown over the years to become the umbrella organisation representing Ghanaian journalists. It currently has membership of over a thousand (1,000), comprising practicing journalists and those in journalism-related fields. These include press officers and public relation officers who are classified as affiliate members.
The GJA is registered as a professional association recognised by Ghana’s constitution which lists it as one of the several bodies that make up the National Media Commission (NMC). The Commission was created to insulate the state-owned media from governmental control and promote press freedom and maintain high journalistic standards. The GJA seeks to influence positively the growth of the media by expanding the frontiers of press freedom and enhancing the integrity of professional journalism in Ghana.
As a member of the coalition, the GJA is able to take the advantage of the platform that is provided it as a professional body to carry out a planned and sustained fight against corruption jointly with other groups in society. The association has committed itself to impressing on their members to publicise the activities of GACC.
The Parliament of the Republic of Ghana in accordance with the provisions of the Fourth Republican Constitution in October 1993 enacted the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice Act (Act 456), to establish the Commission.
The commission seeks to foster a culture of respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms, as well as administrative justice and fairness in Ghanaian society. The commission also exist to promote integrity and decency in Ghanaian public life by investigating corruption and educating the public about its high costs and, conversely, the significant pay-offs of a relatively corrupt free society.
Section 7(10)(a)-(h) of the Commission’s enabling statute Act 456 spells out the functions of the Commission as follows:

The Authority seeks to ensure fairness, transparency and non-discrimination in public procurement in order to promote a competitive local industry and increase the confidence of our varied stakeholders in public procurement processes in the country and beyond.
The Service is headed by the Auditor General who is mandated to audit the public accounts of Ghana and all public offices including Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies, Public Corporations and Organisations established by an Act of Parliament and report the findings to Parliament. Audit Service is therefore the monitoring and accountability organ of the state, and the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Ghana.
The 1969 Constitution made it an oversight body to promote good governance, ensure accountability and transparency in the Public Sector and Article 187 (2) of the 1992 Constitution reaffirms this position. Thus, Audit Service is the only institution mandated by the Constitution to monitor the use and management of all public funds and report to Parliament.
